September is Hunger Action Month, a month where people all across the United States stand together with the Feeding America Network to fight hunger.
After a 20-year career at GL Homes, GL Homes employee Lynette Miller retired. In lieu of a retirement party, Lynette asked that contributions be made to Feeding South Florida to support Hunger Action Month.
GL Homes and Lynette’s colleagues donated over $1,700 to fulfill Lynette’s wish to help combat hunger in South Florida.
Feeding South Florida is an affiliate of Feeding America. Feeding South Florida nourishes families with healthy food, uniting the community around hunger and poverty issues, and helping families achieve household stability.
