Thanks to a little help from the GL Homes Good Night’s Sleep initiative, Florida State University freshman Joseph Gerbasio will start school with creature comforts for his dorm room.
Joseph, who resided at Rob’s Cottage, Youth Haven’s transitional living cottage in Naples, worked through his shopping list with GL Homes VP/Project Manager Dianna Betancourt and Youth Haven Chief Development Officer Peter Johnson.
Joseph, who is 18 years old, selected a new bike, shoes, a large fan, a suitcase, laundry and cleaning supplies, toiletries and several small kitchen items and household appliances. GL Homes purchased over $3,000 in college supplies for Joseph who intends to major in mathematics.
Good luck to Joseph at FSU in Tallahassee! We’re so proud of you!
