The Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County, the Salvation Army and several other Palm Beach County service agencies welcomed those experiencing homelessness and those at-risk of homelessness to its Project Homeless Connect.
This community-wide, collaborative event brings together a host of supportive programs, services and counseling all under one roof. The event takes place throughout the year in various segments of Palm Beach County to make it easy for people to overcome their current situations and move toward stability. Participants had the opportunity to visit tables with resources and interactive displays; shop for clothes and toiletries; receive haircuts, medical screenings and HIV testing.
Participating agencies included the 211 Helpline, the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County and Adopt-a-Family.
GL Homes volunteers pitched in to register guests, sort and distribute clothing and toiletries.
Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County builds coalitions and inspires pathways to help end homelessness in Palm Beach County.
