To make Mother’s Day special for families who have experienced homelessness, moms residing at The Lord’s Place family campus in West Palm Beach were treated to fresh, fragrant roses and scrumptious cookies. GL Homes purchased 50 vases from a local florist so the children could select a colorful bouquet for their mothers. Joshua Catering, a social enterprise of The Lord’s Place, baked the cookies.
Serving the community for 40 years, The Lord’s Place transforms lives by breaking the cycle of homelessness for the most vulnerable and neglected in Palm Beach County.
