Young adults with special needs get free swim lessons this summer.

It was a summer to remember for several developmentally disabled young adults, many of whom learned to swim for the first time. GL Homes arranged for three months of swimming lessons at the YMCA in Boynton Beach for these clients of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
Learning to swim offered these young adults the opportunity to learn a new form of exercise and allowed them the ability to become more confident and independent in and around the water.
