Old St. Nick delivered an early present to the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County. Just in time for the holidays, GL Homes donated a professional-quality playground with all the bells and whistles including two slides, a mini rock climbing wall and shade structures.
The Boys & Girls Clubs Ken Pruitt Unit in Port St. Lucie hosted a socially-distanced, outdoor ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of this $50,000 playground. The project was a labor of love, which took 10 months and 100 hours to design, develop and build.
“A playground is a special place to create happy memories and provide a sense of normalcy for our children. Never has that been more important than during this pandemic when physical activity is limited and our lives upended,” commented Vice President of St. Lucie Division for GL Homes Ryan Courson.
