Literacy Coalition is One to Bookmark

GL Homes donate 100 children’s books from the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County’s wish list registry on Amazon during the 33rd Annual Love of Literacy Luncheon.

According to Dr. Seuss, “the more you read, the more things you will know.  The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” 
 
GL Homes is proud to support children’s literacy and the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County’s 33rd Annual Love of Literacy Luncheon on April 11 at the Kravis Center, Cohen Pavilion, in West Palm Beach. 
 
“One of the most important gifts we can give our children is the love of reading.  Books open a child’s eyes to the world. We create a strong, educated community through literacy,” emphasized GL Homes Chief Operating Officer Marcie DePlaza.
 
GL Homes Vice President of Community Relations Sarah Alsofrom noted that, “even with all the technology and computer screens in our lives, nothing compares to the bond we create when we read to a child.”
 
GL Homes donated 100 children’s books from the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County’s wish list registry to benefit the Literacy Coalition’s children’s literacy programs.
 
Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County is a not-for-profit organization committed to ensuring that everyone in Palm Beach County is able to read.
