When college student Mary needed advice about a career in human resources, her advisors at Best Foot Forward connected Mary to GL Homes. Talent Acquisition Specialist Jessica LaGrange, who works in the GL Homes Human Resources Department, had a virtual mentoring meeting with Mary. Jessica described her job responsibilities and the steps Mary needs to take to work in the field.
Best Foot Forward is a nonprofit organization that empowers youth in foster care and young adults who have aged out of the foster care system by providing academic guidance and support. BFF ensures that these children and young adults receive the same education opportunities as other students.
