As part of our GL Connects initiative, GL hosted 10 developmentally disabled young adults from Legal Aid Society’s Guardian Advocacy Project for a morning of pottery painting. After our social outing at Craft Haus in Palm Beach Gardens, GL treated the clients and Legal Aid staff to lunch.
Outings like this one promote socialization and independence for these young people.
Without Legal Aid’s guardianship and care, these developmentally disabled young adults would be homeless.
