September is Hunger Action Month. For the second year, GL Homes donated $20,000 to provide daily dinners, Monday through Friday, to Boys & Girls Clubs members at the Boca Raton and Delray Beach clubs during the month of September.
In addition to the significant donation, GL Homes took a leadership role to be the first company to volunteer to support Boys & Girls Clubs kitchen staff who serve over 100 children and teens each night.
Due to labor shortages, kitchen responsibilities are often left to one or two Boys & Girls Clubs employees.
The GL team rolled up their sleeves to clean, prep, interact with the kids, and serve a delicious meal catered by Feeding South Florida.
