Teamwork and generosity were on full display as almost 100 people from Valencia Grove’s Grovers Giving Back Club gathered for a fast-paced morning of community service. In less than 60 minutes, the group assembled 3,145 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Port St. Lucie organizations serving people in need.

Wearing hairnets and gloves, Grovers got to work, creating an efficient assembly line. They spread, stacked, packaged, and passed sandwiches down the line, all while keeping the pace moving.

The finished sandwiches were distributed to Grace Way Village, Mustard Seed Ministries, Carpenter’s Kitchen at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, and a women’s and children’s shelter.

This successful initiative is a powerful reminder that when Grovers come together, small acts of service can create a lasting impact in Port St. Lucie.
