Thanks to Options Coordinator Kim Scardino, her daughter, Sadie, and Sadie’s friend, Kylie, our GL racing team earned top prizes in the Run to Home Base charity run in Fort Myers. Sadie won first place and Kylie won second place in their respective races.
Home Base is a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program. It is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds for veterans, active military and their families through world-class clinical care, wellness, education and research.
Sadie sang the National Anthem before the start of the races.
