In Riviera Beach, GL Homes and The Lord’s Place joined forces to distribute hot meals from the Meal Mobile. This collaborative effort supports our local community by providing nutritious meals and essential social services to those experiencing homelessness.
Over 150 people in need received a hearty meal and a friendly smile from GL Homes volunteers. The partnership between GL Homes and The Lord’s Place continues to make a positive impact, bringing hope to our community.
The Meal Mobile is a transformative vehicle, equipped with a prep kitchen and office space for engaging clients, expediting their journey out of homelessness.
The Meal Mobile aligns with the Lord’s Place philosophy by using food as an engagement tool. By satisfying a person’s hunger first, it opens up conversations about housing and social services, with the ultimate goal of ending homelessness.
The Lord’s Place is a non-sectarian, social impact 501(c) (3) organization that offers transformative and comprehensive services designed to end homelessness for the most vulnerable and neglected individuals and families in Palm Beach County.
For more than 40 years The Lord’s Place has aimed to provide innovative, compassionate and effective programs to assist clients in finding their unique path home.
