GL Homes worked in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County to kick start GL’s inaugural Back to Basics Backpack Project. With the help of ten GL employees and their families, GL volunteered to stuff 500 backpacks with school supplies for low-income students who attend school in Port St. Lucie. A special thanks goes out to Boys & Girls Clubs board members Sarah Pride, Major Brian Hester of the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and Asst. Chief Richard Del Toro of the Port St. Lucie Police Department for volunteering their time that day.
