As part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County adopt-a-club program, GL Homes employees volunteered to host a jolly holiday party complete with a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

It was the second year GL Homes hosted a Christmas party at the Renaissance Club in Fort Myers and supported the nonprofit as the title sponsor of the GL Homes and Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County Holiday Gift Drive.

For many of these Boys & Girls Clubs members, these gifts were the only presents they received this holiday season.

But the excitement didn’t stop there! Thanks to GL Homes, the children were able to select a gift for their parents with help from GL Homes volunteers.

Earlier in the afternoon, Aaron Isban and Lynn Deffet, who played Santa and Mrs. Claus, made an additional stop at James Stephens Elementary, a Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County club to wish the children a merry Christmas before heading off to the Renaissance Club for the festivities.

GL Homes has partnered with five Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Florida as the holiday gift drive title sponsor in Collier, Lee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties and Tampa Bay.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County enables all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
