Through GL Homes’ Summer of Service, 16 GL Homes employees volunteered their time at Feeding South Florida to create 600 ready-to-eat, nutritious meals for homebound seniors. The GL Homes team, who volunteered in Boynton Beach, also bagged 1,500 protein-packed meals that will be delivered to families and seniors from Palm Beach County to the Florida Keys.

Summer of Service, a GL Homes initiative, provides time and resources to nonprofits during the slower summer months. While many people take a summer break, the needs of charities and their clients never take a vacation.

Feeding South Florida’s mission is to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.
