The GL Homes Valencia Grand Sales and Warranty offices in Boynton Beach donated over $28,000 in furniture and fixtures to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County.
GL Homes provided gently used kitchen cabinets and appliances, light fixtures and ceiling fans to be sold at Habitat’s Restore.
Habitat ReStores are home improvement thrift stores specializing in home goods, building materials, and furniture. The general public can purchase these items for a fraction of the retail price. ReStore proceeds are used to support Habitat programs and future homebuilding.
Habitat for Humanity works in more than 70 countries and has helped more than 59 million people improve their living conditions since 1976.
Habitat works together with families, local communities, volunteers and partners from around the world so that more people can live in affordable and safe homes. The goal of Habitat’s advocacy efforts is to eradicate systemic obstacles that prevent low-income and historically underserved families from accessing adequate and affordable shelter.
Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.
