While summer is a time many people take a vacation, GL Homes knows the need in our community never takes a break. That’s when the GL Homes Summer of Service initiative puts its foot on the gas to serve many nonprofits throughout Florida.
At the St. Matthew’s House Food and Emergency Assistance Warehouse in Naples, GL Homes employees and their families volunteered to package over 1,200 bags of produce and more than 900 bags filled with essential, nonperishable food staples including soup and beans.
Several teens, who just finished school the day before, got up early the next morning to volunteer at St. Matthew’s House with their GL Homes parents.
St. Matthew’s House touches hearts and transforms lives by breaking the cycle of homelessness and addiction while providing hunger relief for men, women, children and families in Collier and Lee Counties.
