Summer vacation may have just started but the GL Homes and Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County Back to School Drive is in full swing!
This is the third year GL Homes and Boys & Girls Clubs partnered on an annual backpack and school supplies drive. With a $20,000 donation from GL Homes, the nonprofit purchased many of the needed supplies for club members in grades K-12. However, more help is needed from the community to purchase supplies for the over 5,000 backpacks that will need to be stuffed before the start of Palm Beach County public schools on August 9.
GL Homes volunteers and their families pitched in to stuff 500 of those backpacks as part of the company’s Summer of Service initiative.
